Do I Need An Appointment?
Yes. All appointments must be pre arranged. Please telephone... (03) 9482 4499 or email us... admin@vicpsychplus.com to enquire about an appointment and to discuss our fees.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can see a psychologist or counsellor privately. If you want to claim a rebate from Medicare discuss a referral with your GP who may refer you under a Mental Health Care Plan
Can I claim private health insurance?
Yes, we have HICAP facilities so you can claim your private health insurance payments electronically on the spot.
What you can expect when you see a psychologist?
Many people's view of psychology comes from the media, and this can be quite distorted. When you attend an appointment with us you'll find no couch. We are experienced in understanding relationship difficulties; parenting difficulties; the way stress affects people; ways in which abusive experiences from the past can affect people. We are trained to understand the way people's emotions [or feelings] and thoughts affect their behaviour [or the way they do things] and to offer practical solutions to change.
