Mitchell is a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).

Mitchell has worked at Vicpsychplus as a psychologist since 2020, obtaining his full registration in 2022.

During his time at Vicpsychplus, Mitchell has completed a wide variety of training on forensic psychological assessment, treatment of sexual offenders and broader mental health issues.

Mitchell’s practice primarily focuses on sexual offence risk, violence risk, child protection matters, other criminal matters as well as mental health and cognitive assessment.

Mitchell has provided expert evidence in the Magistrates and Children’s courts.
